What does “Sponsor a Carer” mean?

When you sponsor a carer, you fund one full year of Carerpreneurs Club membership for someone who would otherwise struggle to afford it.

Your sponsorship gives a carer access to:

  • practical, carers-friendly resources

  • gentle guidance around self-employment and flexible income

  • a supportive, understanding space designed with carers in mind

  • support they can access in their own time, around their caring role

This isn’t about pushing people to “start a business”.

It’s about possibility, confidence, and choice.

How much does it cost?

£90 sponsors one carer for a full year

(12 months at the early-bird rate of £7.50 per month)

  • one simple, one-off payment

  • no ongoing commitment

  • no administration burden

Your support is direct, tangible, and impactful.

Who are sponsored carers?

Sponsored memberships are offered to:

  • unpaid carers

  • former carers finding their feet again

  • carers under financial pressure

  • carers who would benefit from gentle, low-pressure support

There’s no complex application process and no proving hardship.

This is based on trust and dignity.

What do sponsors receive?

This is not a corporate sponsorship scheme — it’s a human one.

Sponsors may receive:

  • a heartfelt thank you

  • optional acknowledgement (with permission)

  • a short annual update on the impact of the programme

Sponsors do not:

  • have any control or influence

  • sit on boards

  • receive data or personal stories unless consent is given

Your role is simply to make access possible.

Carerpreneurs is a carers-led programme delivered by The Business Signpost Ltd.

It was created by someone who understands caring from the inside — the loss of income, the loss of confidence, and the question of “what next?” once caring changes or ends.

This programme is built gently, intentionally, and with respect for carers’ realities.
